When we talk about environmental problems, the first thing that comes to mind is ‘Plastic; sadly, we are badly engulfed with plastic… from keychains to kitchenware, most of our essentials are made out of plastic. Even my disposable vape is of plastic.
It’s not the usage, but how the plastic is being dumped… just look at our streets, roads, water streams, etc., and you will realize how plastic is being ridiculed.
These days, disposable products have taken over the world. The majority of people use disposable products. But the problem is that people are not aware of how to dispose of them properly.
So, being a mini environmentalist, and one who uses disposable vapes a lot, I am concerned with their disposal.
So, here I am with a solution – to help my vaping environmentalists’ buddies to discard their disposables.

Before moving to discard vapes, let’s quickly what a disposables are made of.
Disposable vapes are made with a battery, a heating element, and also an e-liquid reservoir; all of these are harmful to the environment if not disposed of properly.
Keeping our environment clean and pure is our responsibility and it can be fulfilled when we all will start treating our disposables rightly.

As a vaper, if you desire to continue vaping with your disposable vapes then you need to make sure you are disposing of them properly.

#1 Recycle the Battery: There are multiple local recycling programs in the country that accept batteries, including disposable ones. Contact local recycling programs and give them all the batteries you no longer needed, including your vape batteries.
#2 Separate the components: When you are disposing of your disposable vape, make sure you have separated all the components of the vape. You need to take out the battery, heating element, and reservoir. This will make it quite easy for you to dispose of each component respectively, it would be a favor to the environment.
#3 Do not throw it in the trash: After disposing of the components, now it’s time to dispose of the vape and the plastic body. Never throw them directly in the trash as it can lead to long-term pollution problems. Instead, you can look out for local recycling programs or some electronic waste collection events to dispose of them properly. Discarding them openly can cause fire accidents too.
